What kinds of careers do either you or your husband have? Did your salary decrease a lot?

Dh is in restaurants, stayed the same
Sister is a teacher in NC...way less then pay in NYC.

DH and I are both in finance. DH transferred at his same salary, I transferred with an increase.
In general I would say the salary here for those who are in finance above entry level is the same as it is up north. At entry level I would say is lower than NY.
We are Charlotte based.

Dh's pay transferred allowing me to become a SAHM. We're in Richmond.

My BFF lives outside of Richmond. Her DH is in construction and about a year or two ago it got really bad. She is a SAHM and he had to work out of state and then come home on weekends.
He's just run into some bad health issues so I don't know what they are going to do.
They had originally relocated because she had a great job in NYC that moved to Richmond.
She gave that all up after her DC was born.

My sister is in charlotte, NC in medical field. She is making about $8.00 LESS an Hour. (urology field)
