Re: Meat Loaf...?
I just use a meatloaf mix of meat (it's 3 types of ground meat) and throw in a packet of onion soup mix, an egg, some milk, some breadcrumbs and some BBQ sauce to keep it nice and moist (did I just use that word! )

Re: Meat Loaf...?
I love this one: Incredibly Cheesy Turkey Meatloaf
I like to use shredded pepper jack (about two cups). For the top, I use a combo of ketchup, mustard and brown sugar.

Re: Meat Loaf...?
Better Homes and Gardens Cookbook recipe for Best Loved Meatloaf
Let me tell you, I HATE meatloaf but this recipe is so delicious. To die for!!! DH loves it. The glaze you make at the end tastes SOOO good, I tend to like it sweeter so I use a bit more brown sugar.
Meat Loaf Prep: 20 minutes Bake: 1 hour 10 minutes
2 eggs, beaten 3/4 cup milk 2/3 cup fine dry bread crumbs 1/4 cup finely chopped onion 1 tablespoon parsley 1 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon dried leaf sage, basil, or oregano, crushed (I use oregano only for this, bc I just don't like sage or basil) 1/8 teaspoon black pepper (I omit this, hate black pepper) 1-1/2 pounds lean ground beef, lamb, or pork (I use beef only) 1/4 cup ketchup 2 tablespoons packed brown sugar 1 teaspoon dry mustard
Directions 1. In a medium bowl combine eggs and milk; stir in bread crumbs, onion, parsley, salt, sage, and pepper. Add ground meat; mix well. Lightly pat mixture into an 8x4x2-inch loaf pan.
2. Bake in a 350 degree F oven for 1 to 1-1/4 hours or until internal temperature registers 160 degrees F. Spoon off fat. In a bowl combine ketchup, sugar, and mustard; spread over meat. Bake for 10 minutes more. Let stand for 10 minutes before cutting into eight slices.
3. Makes 8 servings

Re: Meat Loaf...?
1 lb Ground turkey 1 egg beaten 5 dashes of Worchestire sauce (sp?) Parm cheese (eyeballed about 1/2 cup, I think) Breadcrumbs (again, I eyeball but I think it's between 1/2 cup-1cup) Salt Pepper 3 gloves of garlic minced 1 small onion chopped Dried Italian seasoning
First, I sauté the onion with two dashes of worchestire sauce until translucent. I take pan off heat to cool while I combine the other ingredients. Add back in cooled onions and mix to combine. I form a loaf and put mine atop a grated cooling rack inside a cookie sheet. I find it gets crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. I bake at 375 for about an hr or until it's browned.
