Lake George
What's our favorite thing to do there? Going for a few days and haven't been there in so long. All I remember is the Lone Bull for breakfast!

Re: Lake George
This will be our third year going. I love Lake George. We have a five year old, so a lot of what we do is geared for him, but we always go to the Painted Pony rodeo (which is my favorite part of the trip!), steamboat ride, horse drawn buggy ride, the Magic Forest. We always drive to Bolton Landing to shop and have dinner one day. Each day we walk through Canada street and shop in all the little touristy shops. HTH

Re: Lake George
What time of year are you going?
You can do a ride on the Minne Ha Ha or even a dinner cruise on one of the steamboats, Great Escape, wine tasting at Adirondack Winery or if you're a beer person try the Adirondack Brew Pub, rent a boat for a day, go to Gore Mountain (they have tubing, hiking, etc.), go into Bolton Landing and have drinks at the Sagamore, go to Saratoga for some shopping and dinner, mini golfing at Pirate's Cove, and if it's a crummy day we like to hit the outlet mall, if you're golfers I highly recommend Top of the World Golf Resort for a round of golf (it's located at the top of Lockhart mountain and overlooks the entire lake) and then lunch at their restaurant The Farmhouse (it's amazing farm-to-table food and the owners are so cool).
