He is incredible. I have been seeing him in the new office and used to see him at East Coast a few years ago. He gave me my DS. I cannot say enough nice things about him. He is attentive, caring, thorough, compassionate and brilliant.

Dr. Zapantis Reviews??
I started going to him in January. I have nothing but good things to say about him. I was looking for a small practice with more personal care and that is what I am getting. He does every ultrasound and procedure himself. FM if you want more specific details.

Thanks ladies. He accepts my insurance and is not terribly out of the way for monitoring.. I think I am making the switch!

I started seeing him in March and so far I am very happy with him. He is very patient, and caring. I wanted a small practice where I see the doctor and that is exactly what you get. He found polyps on my cervix and he personally called me the evening of my procedure to check in with me... I was impressed. His office staff and nurses are very nice as well. FM if you have any specific questions.

His office is right off the Northern State. Like if you look out the window you see the parkway. This is very helpful for when i have to do monitoring in the AM and head to work on time.

I'm thinking of making a switch too, if my RE doesnt want to do anything different. On Dr. Z's website, it says it opens at 6am on weekdays. Can you really go in at 6am for monitoring? Is it by appointment? Anyone know if its hard to get a 6am appointment?
I was with one of Dr. Z's colleagues at ECF (who left the same time as him) and only heard great things about him.

Blood work and sonos are done in his office. He has done all of my sonos himself. The nurses usually do the blood work but Dr Z. actually did DH's blood work when he came in. I had a D&C and hystoscopy last month and it was done at the Melville Surgical center, which I believe is where he does the IVF. HTH

Monitoring is by appointment. I usually ask for earliest available and usually get an appointment at 6:15 or 6:30 the latest. If I get there by 6:15 I'm out by 6:45. They do monitoring until 9:15. I have to leave there by 7 the latest so I always try to get 6:15 or 6:30 the absolute latest. When I get there at 6:15 there is typically like 1-2 people there in the waiting room. On a Saturday (lI have gone on a lot of Saturdays) I have mostly gone in at 8:00. Saturday they aren't there all day. Dr. Zapantis does the sonos himself. I usually get my blood taken by the nurse first then sono. He has taken my blood a few times if the nurse had a lot of patients to take blood from. The IUIs are done in the office but I don't have any information about where he does IVF. Any more questions please ask.

I absolutely love him!
Everything that the other girls have said about him is true.. He is caring, attentive, compassionate, intelligent and just an overall sweet person. He is amazing with answering any and all of my questions and concerns. His entire staff is also sweet and caring.
As for appointments, I've been there at 6am for monitoring. It's not hard to get an early appointment. And like previous posters have said, he does all the sonograms. Nurses generally do blood work although he has done my blood a few times.

I agree with all the other posts! While we went to him for a hysteroscopy and began work up for ivf, we ended up getting pregnant naturally (truly a miracle!) I have nothing but good things to say about him and the practice. He is very attentive (will call you himself, can call him off hours, answers emails), honest and knowledgeable. I went in several tines for blood work before 7am. I also understand that he now has his own ivf lab in the office.( He use to use rsofny's lab). I completely give him a recommendation !
