Re: Ways to 'sneak' in fitness

- At work, i will take a 5 min break a few times a day to run down the strairs & then back up to my floor (9th)

- I bring my jumprope when i take my son to the park. I alternate jumping & pushups or regular jumps with high knee jumps while he plays

- I will run around the track while my son rides his bike next to me (sometimes he gets bored with this)

Re: Ways to 'sneak' in fitness

When I'm feeling cold or just unfocused, I go to the kitchen at work and do 30 jumping jacks. Enough to get the blood flowing, not enough to make me a sweaty mess.

Also in the kitchen, when I heat up food, I do squats or leg lifts and count how many I can do before the microwave beeps.

When I was very heavy, I used to do this and actually damaged my chair, so take this one with a grain of salt... I do tricep dips at my office chair.

Always take the stairs. Up and down.

That's about it. Chat Icon

I take the stairs a lot. I also walk when I can instead of driving and will park further. I purposely run around and chase DD and will jump around with her and climb and be completely and utterly hands-on interactive when it comes to play like that. I also engage her into dancing for about 15 minutes a day.

I've actually also found the10 Minute Trainer. I wake up 10 minutes earlier and do a workout. The best part is that it doesn't feel like a workout at all so when I have a few minutes to spare, I pop in a dvd and do it.
