I was told by a few people the baby must have a hat when leaving the hospital....true - I don't know - but better safe than sorry

A Razor...I forgot mine and was all stubbly.

Your own pillow in a colored case. I'm not sure if that was on your list.

I had my husband bring me sodas eash day because I didn't get any with the meals.

Snacks to eat after delivery?

Breath mints.

Wow!! That seems like a lot of stuff, I don't think I even packed a 1/4 of that stuff. But I think I may take some of the items off of your list since they sound like good ideas. Remember, if worse comes to worse, hubby can run home or out to the store to buy you anything you have forgotten!

Your own maxi pads.....in case you don't like the ones the hospital gives you.
A boppy pillow if you plan on BF.
Camera!
If you got a baby book, bring it for them to put the footprints in.

Bring a toothbrush for DH also.

Snacks for DH while you are in labor and change for vending machines. The vending machines didn't have much in them, so DH was glad we bought our own stuff.

I heard DH telling a friend to bring more than 2 pillows to the hospital when his wife went into labor bc I ended up using both and he didn't have one.

I would actually suggest bringing tight underwear instead of large ones. They were good to hold the sanitary napkins close and you will be putting stuff on the pads to help with the pain if you tear or have an episiotomy. Some people (and some hospitals) even use ice packs or pads with cooling gel in them.
