A negative pregnancy test yet you are pregnant?

Has this happened to anyone? I tested and it's negative but I"m late and having on and off again symptoms.

I personally have not. I've had months where I would have bet all my money I was pregnant and still got a BFN. My cycle would change too, making me late but still a BFN. If the tests are negative and no AF, you can ask your doc for blood work to make sure.

Happend to me with my first baby. Took 3 tests all negative, when I went to my Dr she looked at me like I was nuts and showed me a super dark + test

Yes this happened to me. My first 2 were negative and I skipped AF and took another a few days later and positive. GL

Happened with my very 1st pregnancy(almost 16 yrs ago). That was back when EPT was the popular test and I got a negative when I first tested, but I missed my regular period and had implantation spotting for 2 days and knew I was pregnant but kept getting BFN. I never got a BFP on a HPT but went to the doctor and my HCG was like 5000 and something.

It happened with this baby. I tested at 10dpo through 16 dpo, and finally at 17dpo, it showed up positive. I was so confused during this time bc I KNEW I was pg...stupid test just wasn't coming up +.

Thanks everyone. It's so weird. Me being pregnant is so unlikely. There was only one chance where it could of happened and even that is slim because it was pull & pray. It's just so weird because I have been so regular since getting my IUD out a year and 1/2 ago and I have period symptoms but no period. I guess it could just be my body changing since I'm older. I guess time will tell.

If you are taking it too early. For me I actually ovulated later than I thought so I took the test at 12DPO and it was negative, but it turns out I was probably only about 9 or 10 DPO. Took a test 3 days later and it was a FAINT positive. Took another the next morning and it was much darker.

I know the 2WW is KILLER and you want to test immediately, but I would wait until 14DPO to start testing, ALWAYS test in the morning with FMU, and do the pee in a cup method and hold the stick in the cup for a minute or 2 so it gets really saturated, rather than peeing directly on the stick. Also use First Response Early Result because that's the most sensitive!

my first pregnancy I didnt get a positive until my period would have actually arrived,

are you testing first thing in the am with first morning urine? that's when whatever chemical it is that turns the test is most present.

Yes, this happened to me. I was feeling so nauseous (and it resolved by the afternoon) and waking up super early out of nowhere (and that is not my style lol), and I hadn't been tracking days or anything so I didn't know exactly how long it would have been since I ovulated. I have PCOS so I had no idea when I ovulated in the first place. But anyway, I took a test and it was negative, and then I thought nothing more of it, but for the next week I kept feeling off until a week later I said to myself, let me just take a test again, I FEEL pregnant... and I was, on that test and the next 3 I took that same night lol. So it is possible, I turned out to only be like 3 weeks pregnant (1 week after ovulation) when I felt the nausea, I was very symptomatic VERY early, but it stuck thank God because now I have my daughter.
BTW - I tested positive a week later testing at night, not with FMU, and they were faint lines.

How late are you? I have tested a day or 2 early, and gotten a negative.... then a positive a few days later.

I ovulate extremely late. For me, my positives do not show until like 3 days past my period. Good luck!

So, I am a week late. At this point, I am going to assume it is just my body changing. I did take a pregnancy test yesterday afternoon and it was a BFN. I'm just getting confused because I have symptoms of my period coming but it's isn't here. Pinching and slight cramps, a couple of breakout and my breast and nipples are off and on tender. Maybe this is just the start of menopause.

With one pregnancy, I never got a positive test. I KNEW I was pregnant, even though I had spotting which I thought was my period. Went to my Dr. and demanded an ultrasound eventually and I was 16 weeks pregnant at that point! They even repeated a urine test at that appointment and it was negative. Weird.

This happened to me!! I was a few days late, and got two negatives. Then I waited two days and got a positive!!
