citi mini double FAIL
my twins are turning 5 months next week and with the nice weather we decided to finally open up the citi mini i got for my shower.
It doesnt fit through my apartment door!!!!
My options are either return it for something else (like what?!) or just take the kids out at the front door and fold it up before we walk in (not really a huge deal but quite annoying because sometimes they fall asleep in the stroller and we leave them in there while we're upacking groceries etc.)
What should i do?

Re: citi mini double FAIL
This wouldn't be an issue for me becuase I'm a total germ freak and would never be pushing a stroller into my house/apt. If I had to store it inside I'd be folding it up at the door and carrying it to the storage area anyway. I'd totally keep it but that's just me.

Re: citi mini double FAIL
I had this exact same problem. I tried every side by side on the market and nothing fit, so we ended up with the city select. We really like it and it makes my life a whole lot easier.

i just got the britax b-ready and live in apt. It strolls right in and you can have the main seat with the jumper seat or 2 infant seats.

Do you have the regular City Mini Double or the City Mini Double GT? If it's the GT model I will buy it from you. That's if you are willing to sell.

We keep ours in the car since we have no place to store it in the house, and there are steps to get into our apartment too. Is that an option?

not really since the walk from the car to the apt is usually a block or two

Re: citi mini double FAIL
I have a mountain buggy that fits right through my front door. Thank Goodness because one of my twins loves to fall asleep in it, now i can just leave him. I freaking love this stroller..but...its a pain to fold up.

Re: citi mini double FAIL
I would definitely exchange it as it seems like such a pain to fold it up and get everyone/everything out just to run inside your apartment. Then again, we perpetually have our stroller open right by our front door to make getting out just a teensy bit easier.
We have the city select and I've been pretty pleased with it, though I think any front to back (not the side by side style) would work and make life a bit easier.

I have the Britax B-Agile double, also and love it! Fits through every doorway so far. I keep mine in my car or the garage. It was only in the house when I put it together :)

Thanks, I'm going to check it out next week.
