looking for....
I'm looking for a good social worker, psychiatrist, therapist for my 11 year old son.. He has PDD/NOS, ADHD, also some speech delays.. Last year he was cutting himself, we saw someone but after awhile we both were not happy with him. He hasn't been cutting, but he has been having a lot of panic attacks, trouble sleeping, major anxiety over every little thing. We live in Hicksville and he has child health plus(emblem health).. thank you.

Try posting under Children with Special Needs. Those ladies have a wealth of information.
Would he qualify for anything through the school district?
DS is only 4 but we initially went the private psychologist route before we got him evaluated through the school district, and the co-payments alone cost a pretty penny for a handful of sessions.

Thank you.. I will Xpost to the board Children with Special Needs.. As for the school, right now they are no help to me and they are making things worse.. My son was classified at age 3 and went to a special preschool. He tested out going into grade 4, he is 5th grade now and my school is refuseing to retest him. As I said before they are totally no help to me right now.. My son dreads going to school most days :(

Yeah, definitely go to the other board. I am sure the ladies can even suggest ways in dealing with the school.
