semi-inground pool help please
We are currently having a semi-inground pool installed in our yard. It's a 52" wall that will be sunken 24" into the ground. Everything was going fine until they left the instruction manual for us, and a few things caught my eye:
1. Aluminum Wall Above-Ground pool installation instructions
2. This pool is not designed to be buried.
3. Wilbar International (manufacturer - horrendous reviews online, no direct website)
Before I overreact and contact the company, can anyone with a semi-inground pool please let me know if your pool instructions specifically said "semi-inground" or if it said above ground like mine does? Our contract reads semi-inground pool with extruded aluminum frame. To me, that doesn't match the instructions.
It's too late for us to turn back now. I'm going to be heartbroken if we were ripped off. And I am going to be extremely pissed if my house is in now jeopardy of being flooded by a pool with weak walls.
This company had seemed to be so honest with us - even advised us of LIPA regulations on placement away from power lines, which other companies didn't even mention.
Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated - TIA
