Bath
Can anyone recommend what they do with their seven-month old during bath time? DS is too big for the mini bath and I can't stand the one he can sit in he slides down and it seems so uncomfortable. I am still too nervous to let him sit alone in the tub just wondering what everyone else does

try putting towels down so he doesn't slide or how big is your kitchen sink? It's a pain to scrub the sink every time you want to do a bath but ours is bigger than the portable tub was.

Re: Bath
At that age, with my first, I bought an inflatable duck tub that sits inside the bathtub. I bought this one at Target, but I've seen it a lot of different places. It's awesome!

we had an inflatable tub like this (minus the giant duck head) that we used until he outgrew it and could be in the big tub. I loved it - it was the perfect transition between the plastic newborn one and the big tub. i think i got mine at BBB, or online from diapers.com

Re: Bath
My 7 month old still fits in the infant tub, but soon I'll be buying one of the inflatable ones like shown above. For my older DD, we got one from One Step Ahead.

Re: Bath
For those using the inflatable tubs, where do you keep it after bath time? Do you keep it in there?

I keep in the tub turned upside down so the water drains out

I have used the tub ring. I don't recommend bathing with child. My friend did that & how her daughter is 19M & she can't seem to break the bad habit she started.

Re: Bath
I use a bath seat for my DD ever since she was about 6 months old. Plus, I bathe my 2 year old at the same time so the seat is a life saver.

We used the infant tub until DS out grew it. At the moment we just have a stand up shower stall so we just stick both kids in there, they LOVE it! I'm kind've glad we can't use the tub in our other bathroom i'm convinced this is way easier. DS has been going in there since he was about 7 mos, he's 13 mos now.

I tried that rubber duck infallible tub. Holy hell DS FREAKED! He couldn't get picked up fast enough. I tried a few times no dice. I took out the "saddle" In the infant whale tub we had, and he was good in there for a few more months.
Next kid I'm totally doing the laundry basket.
