Knee-length workout short rave
I went from an XL to a L in exercise clothes and have been on the hunt for comfortable shorts to exercise in that don't ride up or give me a wedgie when I walk/jog.
I was buying shoes from Zappos anyway and read the glowing reviews on these shorts and decided to try them out: http://www.zappos.com/moving-comfort-fearless-bermuda-ebony
They are that silky material that feels good on, they don't ride up, I don't sweat as bad in them, and I think they're pretty flattering too. Much more so than my capris, these pics were only taken a week apart and it's amazing to me how much better the shorts look:
Like I said, I got a large and am usually a 12 or 14 in pants, 5'9". I know $48 is pricy for shorts but being comfortable is important to me, the flattering cut is a bonus too.

They look great!
I don't know how anyone wears capris! They look uncomfortable...lol I have pair of shorts that are cut similar - they are slightly wider at the end. I think it makes a much more flattering short.

Thanks ladies! 
Figuring out what looks good on my body shape has been a long process with a lot of trial and error. You would think being tall would give me more options, but I think an unflattering cut on shorts or skirts doesn't discriminate based on height.
Having good clothes for exercising is just one more facet in keeping me on track; it all goes to that positive feeling you get.

I actually got stopped while I was jogging and asked where I got these shorts from  That's never happened to me before.

I just want to say you look AMAZING. You are an inspiration, you really did make the lifestyle change. You should be proud of your accomplishments. And I may buy those shorts!! I NEVER EVER wear shorts, EVER (did I mention ever??), but I think i could wear those!
