Mommy and me with twins?
Is this possible? Im sure I'd need to wait til they can sit up on their own so I dont have to hold both. What age does Mommy and me start?

I started Gymboree classes with my triplets at 5 months old. They were not yet sitting on their own and I would go by myself. It is difficult, but totally doable. It was actually easiest when they were just laying there, and I would just take turns with each of them. Sometimes the teacher would take one to help me out. Once they were running around and climbing...mommy and me classes got much harder. Honestly it is definitely helpful to bring someone to help you, but sometimes that is not possible. I needed to get out of the house and I needed to be enrolled in some type of program (more so for my sanity). We were enrolled in Gymbroee from 5months-18 months. Now they are going to be 2 and we do library classes, I am signing them up for soccer this summer, and they are starting a 2 year old pre-school program in the fall.

Mommy and me with twins?
I did it today with a program called Play Hooray. I think you could do it with them totally- it's short and you can sit most of the time. An instructor can also take your baby during some of the songs and dance with her- she did it with me haha :)

Do it now! It is waaaaaaaaay easier before they can move around. And you will feel like a superhero for getting out of the house and doing something for them and for yourself too.
Gymboree is great for that age group.
The first class is usually free so you can get a trial for it before actually paying.

I think it depends on the kids. My boys were crazy so there was no way I could do it. I tried a few times and they were all an epic fail! I even tried doing classes at the library and the other moms were clearly annoyed w/ me.

They kinda sit , take it all in and are pretty good when out. They take it all in. Twin 1 chats with everyone. I do get out a few time a week with them so I'm not shy about going alone. Now I just need to find one. Thanks ladies!!

At 7 months we took some library classes, they loved it. Once 8 months hit they started crawling all around the class. It got a little hectic, but definitely could do it. At one I signed them up for Gymboree, they were all over that place, but it was very secure and everything is padded so i wasn't too concerned. I think you could definitely do it. Sometimes it just take patience.

Thanks! Im looking for something in suffolk but on Sats.
I checked my library too and there are never any Sat classes. Do all these moms that go to these really not work?? Must be nice.

It pisses me off that most places assume that the mom is a SAHM. Very few places have Saturday programs.

Music together has Saturdays. I can't say enough about them and what their program does for kids in the long run. you DO need a 2nd adult for that if you have twins though. Tons of locations all over LI and they fill up fast

Oh they would probably love that! Twin 2 dances. Lol. And they both love music. I just saw a friend post a photo of her dd st music together. I know nothing of this. I have to ask her. Maybe I can get dh to go if its a sat am.

I also do music together with my 11 month old triplets who are a handful! I bring my mothers helper and the instructor will sometimes take the third during some of the more dancey numbers. They love it and it has helped them developmentally. Their dev ped at lij is also a fan!

We love music together! I've been taking them since they were 6 months and they love music and the class so much! I've done classes on Saturdays and Sundays with DH.
