Crazy question - any reputable places to sell gold/diamonds on the SS/Nassau?
I have a few pieces of jewelry just laying around, and wanted to sell it. I have this image of gold/jewelry buyers as being a bit sleazy, so any advice would be great.
Also, any advice would be great. I have two pieces in particular which I suspect are worth more than just their gold weight, because they are beautiful and interesting.

Most jewelers buy gold....I just go to the local place.
They will just pay for the weight of the gold; not the aesthetic look of the piece. Also keep in mind that when you look up the price of gold for the day by the ounce, that is the price of PURE gold. Most jewelry in this country is 14k or 18K, so you will be getting a lot less money, since it is not pure gold, it's mixed with other metals.
