Internal & Bleeding Question
Sorry for all my questions and that this one is TMI.
I had my internal on Tuesday night, I know there was some red blood right after in the office and the doctor told me some spotting was to be expected. There was nothing yesterday but just now I noticed what I guess is old blood as I wiped. I'm assuming this is from when I bled right after the internal finally making it's way out. I have no cramping.
Any one experience a delay like this after their internal? TIA.

how far along are you? I experienced this at around 8 weeks after a transvaginal. My doctor also did my yearly paps on that day and she told me I was going to spot. Definitely call the doctor if you start noticing more blood though.

Internal & Bleeding Question
I actually didn't have any bleeding after my internal the other day but my doctor said it is only alarming and to call if I have BRIGHT RED blood, otherwise it's just spotting from the internal and not to worry.

I'm only 5w5d. I also had my yearly pap on Tuesday as well. I will keep an eye on it, I'm trying not to get upset right now but I just want to cry. :(

I didn't have bleeding but did have cramping which freaked me out a bit. They say it's normal to spot after the transvaginal so just watch it and if it's a lot of very bright then call the doctor.

this sounds normal don't worry! I cried when I saw that too because I freaked out!! but you can always call your doctor that's why they are there for!!!

Sorry I didn't realize you meant the internal in the beginning of the pregnancy. As long as you aren't cramping and it's not bright red blood then try not to worry too much. It's probably just old blood. You can spot early on in pregnancy, internal or no internal.

Yup, I spotted after all of my internal exams. And not always the day of the exam! Totally normal!

When I had my internal the same thing happened to me because of the PAP procedure.... the next day I spotted old blood....I called my OB and he said don't be alarmed until you feel cramping and if I start heavy bleeding...feel better
