wish me luck... feelin' like runnin'

don't know if you remember... my half marathon left me with a busted knee.

i've been nursing it since then. i've had it looked at, i've had it massaged, i've been using my foam roller, i've been using "the stick," i've been following every core/glute/balancing routine known to man, i've been doing "runner" yoga.

i even started to test the knee. at first, i was only able to run a few steps before i felt pain. on monday, i was able to run 1.5 miles pain-free.

wish me luck... tonight, i will attempt to run 5k.

i promise that i will STOP at the FIRST sign of ANY pain, but i'm feeling confident that i can do this.

there are 19 weeks until the Atlantic City marathon... if i can handle the 5k, i JUST MIGHT start training for the marathon next week.
