If you could move to any state from the state your in now, where would you go?

We currently lived n Maine and hubby and i are considering relocating. Hubby grew up here, i was born here but lived in Mississippi and Texas until my parents died and moved back. We are thinking about leaving and relocating. We are thinking NY or VT but if you could move to any other state, where would you go any why?

We are locating from NY to WA. My husband is being relocated. We went out there and it really is lovely and the cost the living is much better.
