"dear husband"
Totally random...
I know everyone always refers to their husband as DH or their kids as DS/DD and I know thats just a general message board/ online chat thing because I've seen it other places than just LIF. But I just can't bring myself to use it because it makes me feel silly to refer to my husband as "Dear Husband" haha.
I wonder how that all started anyway. Why not MH for my husband? Sorry its late and I'm in a weird mood but thats something I always wonder about.

I think its just a term of endearment. It doesn't bother me at all but if it bothers you, just type out 'husband' instead.

It just makes me laugh because I picture people actually saying it in conversation. Like "Dear Husband and I went to the store..." hahaha

To actually say "dear husband" does sound silly to me too, but I just use it on here because it's easier.

I always hated the "dear" thing too but eventually just succumbed to the pressure and started using DH, DS, etc. I always thought "Dear Husband" sounded so stupid.
