Hello, I'm new here

Hello everyone, my name is Monica! I live on Long Island and I just had fraternal twin boys Damian and Luka. They are 3 1/2 months old right now. I also have a 9 year old daughter Gabriella. I just discovered this site today and I haven't really gotten to explore it yet. . .what is it all about?

Hey there, welcome Monica! LIF is pretty much a standard message board with a lot of long islanders (and former long islanders) sharing information, chit chat, etc. on a ton of different topics.

I've found it pretty useful for recommendations (whether it be a body lotion for myself, or a good park for my kids), and sometimes as a sanity check (aka asking questions like "am i out of my mind for thinking this").

You're going to love it here! Welcome Anything and everything you'd want to know about parenting, relationships, random stuff, community events is on LIF.
The multiples board is the best We all ask questions to see what others do with their twins/triplets that you might be curious to know (feedings, bedtimes, naps, behavior, etc) I use it every single day! I am going to echo what statusQuoScreenname said- sanity checks are the #1 reason I use it too. If you don't feel like posting, you can "lurk" by checking out the forum search option.

Under the green bar at the top of the screen is a row of options:

click on search, enter keywords like "swim diapers", click on topics, and you can see people's answers/opinions to questions you may have. This is how I decided to use disposable swim diapers for my twins
