Disney Princess Half Marathon!
So I decided that since it is a dream of mine , and lets face it I'm not getting any younger, that I was going to do the Disney Princess Half next February. So yesterday I officially registered! I am so excited and nervous. It will be my first half. Wish me luck.

Disney Princess Half Marathon!
how awesome!
i think that's the disney run a friend of mine will be doing... she's the one who inspired me to start running.
i hear that those disney runs can be a LOT of fun.

i think my friend is using his plan, as well.

Right now the expense is what's keeping me & with 2 kids, how do I tell them they aren't coming.

Right now the expense is what's keeping me & with 2 kids, how do I tell them they aren't coming.
I completely understand. I have 3 kids, all of who are older so they cost adult prices. So the price of us all going is insane. But I basically told them it is going to be a very small Christmas this year and they seem ok with that. I would never be abl to get away with not taking them lol. The expense is going to be insane but its on my bucket list so I'm just going to save for the next 8 months.

Since the kids are off of school the week leading up to the race, we are going down the Tuesday before. We will do the parks Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. The race is on Sunday morning. We will be coming home on Monday. I would have preferred to do the race first and the parks after but with school this is how I had to work it out. HTH

sounds like you have a good plan in place.
for dressing up... NO-SEW TUTUS... they are awesome, fast, and cheap to make. you can coordinate it with whichever princess you decide to be.
when planning your costume, please take time to run in it. this way you'll find out if the costume can handle running and you'll find out if there are any spots where it might chafe.
can't wait to read about it

I get to occassionally run with my DH...although I'm faster 
But I don't have anyone here to run with.
