DOE Ratings
Watched webinar on Thursday during PD. What is your school doing to pick the team to look at local measures for ratings?

We had a meeting today to introduce the committee and the expectations. Teachers were enthusiastic about the committee. There are several models to choose from:
1. Teacher made tests
2. Performance series tests
3. Overall School wide Scholarship
These are just a few that we are looking at. All decisions need to be made before the start of the school.
The Committee is made up of two parts: The UFT chapter leader gets to choose 4 people and the principal gets to choose 4 people.....let the games begin.

Our UFT leader took nominations and then a vote was held. I am on the committee.....we have not met yet because admin has not named their picks. I suppose there will be PD this summer.
