Intro & Dollar Tree HPT Questions
Hi ladies! I'm new here...not a big poster but now that my hubby and I just started TTC this month, I may be more active.
I have a quick question about Dollar Tree HPTs...I went to 4 diff Dollar Trees (Patchogue, Bohemia, Deer Park, and Bay Shore)...ALL of the are out of HPTs. They have ovulation tests and menopause tests, but no HPTs! Have they been discontinued or something?? I wanted to buy a bunch just to have around the house...plus we are going away on vaca next week and I am due for my period so I was hoping to test and get a BFP while away...slim chance, I know. I may just buy a bunch of cheapies online...any suggestions??

I haven't been able to find them in the dollar store by me either (Massapequa) - only the ovu tests... I just ordered a bunch of wondfo's off of amazon.

The Dollar Trees in Wantagh, West Babylon, & Bay Shore are out too. I wonder WTF is going on. Of course nobody at the store knows anything

I was at the garden city dollar tree and they were also out. I did see them online though.

hmm, weird that all those stores are out...I wonder if there was a recall or something.
What's the earliest you girls test?? I don't temp or use OPKs or anything. I've been tracking with an app on my phone but I don't really know how accurate it is at predicting O and fertile days, but according to the app, I'm 9dpo, and I'm due for AF on 6/26 (14dpo). I usually have 30 day cycles. When should I test??

I buy the wondfo cheapies on amazon...love them!! I have been pregnant twice before (lost both), but it showed up even before FRER.

Early-pregnancy-tests.com tests are good. I used them for both of my pregnancies.

If you can hold out long enough I would test after your missed AF. I tested a week before and was lucky to get a BFP (we were going to Mexico the following week and wanted to know before we went) but that doesn't happen for everyone. So like I said, if you can hold out, await until after your missed AF. Especially if you are going away. You don't want to upset yourself on vacation if it's a BFN.

The dollar tree in Lake Grove always has A TON!! Down the aisle, at every register, in bins down the center of the aisle...they are OVERSTOCKED!!
