Are the point values for ww accurate on this site for the recipes? Anyone have any good skinny taste recipes they have made and recommend?

Re: Skinnytaste
I've never made anything from skinnytaste that I didn't like. Some of our favorites are her pepper steak, the baked ziti with spinach, lots of her crock pot recipes. The pesto chicken and tomato kebabs that she recently posted are amazing and will definitely become a staple this summer. I really don't think you can go wrong with her stuff.
As far as the points value, I've never really checked. But sometimes in the comments people say they got different results and she usually has a reason why, so I pretty much trust her.

Re: Skinnytaste
I have calculated some recipes and not all of them are as low as she claims. I don't remember which ones off hand so I always recalcuate as I am making them to get the accurate numbers.

Re: Skinnytaste
One of my favorite food blogs and I still use some of the recipes now even thought I am pregnant! Super healthy and husband friendly :)
I love the sicilian riceball casserole, the cheesy zuchini (sp) enchiladas, chicken soup with avocado and cilantro... I could go on and on!

Re: Skinnytaste
Best site ever! In fact, tonight, I made the pasta with asparagus!
I LOVE all her recipes! I use them even when I am not on WW. As for the points, I never really checked.

Re: Skinnytaste
I like her recipes - esp. a lot of the savory ones. Her crock pot recipes and her chicken roll up type recipes (jalapeno popper chicken, chicken cordon bleu) are very good. I also like a lot of her casserole recipes (tuna noodle casserole could be delicious - who knew!). All of the ones I just mentioned are good because they can be made or prepped ahead and make good leftovers, so they are good weeknight meals.
I also like some of her breakfast recipes, such as her blueberry banana baked oatmeal (another good make ahead dish).
I think her points are usually fairly accurate, give or take a point here or there, which shouldn't matter too much. I mean, there could be variation of ingredients/brands when you make it (for example, she uses 50% rf cabot cheese a lot, but I usually find that in a block, not preshredded, so I sometimes by rf cheese already shredded in another brand, which may be more points). Some of her points are actually higher than I would count -- I think she runs them through the recipe builder. So a salad, for example, may be more points if she is inputting all ingredients (including zero point veggies), whereas when I make a salad, I just count the non-zero point items (cheese, nuts, etc.).
So if you were really wanting to be accurate, you could recalculate all of the recipes, but they are pretty accurate on points, if not always exact, so I wouldn't bother (unless you start eating her recipes every day and you find your weight loss stalling).
