hate my stroller.. please recommend yours
I have the Maclaren Techno XT Stroller. I thought it was lightweight, but it still feels very bulky to me and it's hard to open and close. It was close to $300 but i think i can find something better for the money.
Looking for a stroller that's good quality but lightweight and compact that is easy to open, close and fold away.
Any suggestions?
ETA: definitely has to recline!!

I love love love my city mini.
So easy to open and close- even for an utter spaz like me.
Super light.
Handles great- turns easily etc.

I always recommend the cybex onyx stroller. I got it at buybuybaby. It's $259, a great light weight stroller and extremely easy to use. Very light weight, has a super canopy and a 4 position recliner. I love it!

Love our Britax B-Agile. Bought it when DS was 2.5 and 30+lbs. 1 year later still love it, works great, easy to maneuver and will be using it for our newborn.
ETA: Also bought a City Mini to compare it too and did not like the City Mini. DH agreed. Bought both on Amazon since I could compare both at home at the same time, with DS in them, and return what I didn't want.

I love my britax. It's super light. I also love the way it closes. One button and you pull it right up with one hand! I recommend goons to BRU and try to open and close them both and maneuver them!

Love, love, love our city mini GT, turns on a dime and super easy to close, closes pretty flat too. Easy to get in and our of the vehicle too.

Another vote for city mini here. The one hand fold & huge canopy are my favorite features.
Going to BBB to try the display strollers out was very helpful. It was nice to be able to stick ds in them to try them out, actually fold them up & feel the weight.

I highly recommend the uppababy g luxe! Lightest stroller out that reclines and stands up on its own. Its a 2 hand fold but super easy and i do it all the time while holding my dd. I absolutely love it. Its sooo light and comes in great colors. Great quality.

I also have the Britax B-Agile. It's Britax's version of the city mini, so it has a lot of the same features like the large canopy, lightweight, and one hand fold. We looked at both and ended up with the Britax. We liked that it had the one pedal brake. It also doesn't have the crossbar in between the two back wheels like the city mini does. Also the Britax has a smaller wheel in front and larger ones in the back which gave it better stability and handling. For us it was so much better. I highly recommend it.

Not sure how your your DC is, but mine just turned 4 and I needed a new stroller for her. I tried the City Mini and the B-Agile. she had much more room in the B-Agile. I ultimately ended up with the B-Ready, because she had even more room in that...and I will need her in the stroller for much longer than as is usual. Even my 7 year old fit into the B-Ready. I highly recommend it! It is so easy to push, even with my 40lb child in it!

It's been a year since I bought it but I do remember that I felt the Britax was lighter and much easier to maneuver with a 30+lb DS. I also remember that when DH pushed both he immediately said he wanted the Britax. It has always performed really well on all types of surfaces and is easy to push. Storage in great with the basket underneath and the deep pocket in the back. Has one hand fold. Easy to clean. At that point in time I also remember that the Britax was actually cheaper but not sure if that's true anymore. I bought both on Amazon bc we have Prime and could just return what we didn't want after pushing the strollers across our house.
ETA: DS is now 3.5, 41 inches and 40lbs and he still fits in the B-Agile and is comfy and it is still easy to push and turn. It also fully reclines which has been great in the past when he would nap. LOVE IT! Highly recommend it. If DS1 was younger/smaller, I would buy another Britax if I needed a double.
