hissing cat
I have a 7 yr old cat, that these past few days has been hissing at me and my husband, and growling , I don't know why? So I made an appointment to take her to the vet.. She hates the vet she does however hiss and growl when seeing the vet...Is this a good decision in taking her to see why she is hissing.....
NOW she is rubbing against me, and purring...what is going on.......

Has anything changed recently in the house?
Overnight visitors? New furniture? Construction workers? New paint in a room? New baby? Has a window A/C taken up space where kitty would usually sit and watch what's going on outside? Have people in your neighborhood been blowing up a lot of fireworks?
Same brand of litter and food? Pooping/peeing/eating...any of that different?
Any of the changes above might make kitty annoyed. Can you pinpoint anything?
