AWESOME "Poke" Cake (updated w/ Pic)
Better Than Anything Cake 1 box chocolate cake mix and any ingredients it requires (German Chocolate) 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk 1 (16 oz) jar caramel topping (I poured 1/4c chocolate topped too) 1 (8 oz) container cool whip thawed to room temp 3-6 Heath Candy Bars chopped (I used a bag of the Heath bits)
Bake cake according to directions in a 9x13 pan. Let cake cool for about 5 minutes. Poke holes in cake with the handle end of a wooden spoon. While cake is still warm, slowly pour over sweetened condensed milk over the top making sure some gets in all the holes of the cake. Next drizzle the caramel topping evenly over the cake slowly, making sure some gets in all the holes as well. Spread cool whip over the top evenly. Sprinkle with Heath Candy bar pieces. Store in fridge until ready to eat. Store any leftovers in fridge.
NOTE: Can combine sweetened milk & caramel, chocolate topping in a bowl, stir, then pour of cake.
Make at least a day in advance (sprinkle Heath before serving so stays crunchy)

Re: I made this for yesterday.....AWESOME "Poke" Cake
I should really post a picture...because the level of moistness is insane, yet you can still cut a piece. Unlike the way you have to scoop a Triffle.
I love caramel/health...so it's right up my alley. I might even add some salty nuts next time too.

Yes, plan to keep it in the pan. While most magically gets absorbed though all the poked holes, it needs time to set & it's too moist to even dream of pulling it out.
So I used a glass pan.

OMG...yeah, that does look weird....like moldy cheese or something.
I was the last of it, before the DH finished it, so I tried to get a photo of the gooey caramel/sauce soaked into it.
