Dave Ramsey Financial Peace University
I'm thinking about taking the class. DH and I need to control our spending, get on a budget and start saving for DD's college. Has anyone taken the classes? Yay or Nay?

Nothing to add about Dave Ramsey, but we used to go to True North, and Bert did a series about finances once that was really great. It really changed the way we thought about money. Let me know how it is!

Dave Ramsey Financial Peace University
Have never taken his Financial Peace classes but I am a huge Dave Ramsey fan. I listen to his podcasts all the time in the car and have read his books as well. Even convinced my husband to get on the 'rice and beans' bandwagon he is always speaking about. It was really difficult in the beginning when we started to incorporate many of his recommendations, but I have to say it was totally worth it. It took me personally 7 years to pay off a huge mountain of student loan debt and i was miserable at the end. I never thought for one second i would see that loan disappear (i'm talking over $100K in student loans!!) But I credit Dave Ramsey for keeping me on track and motivated. His method is tough- pretty much starve yourself of spending any amount of money outside of food and shelter (as he says).Totally worth it though- Good luck !
