Cole Brothers Circus
Has anyone ever been? I want to take my 3 and 4 year olds? Is it air conditioned? I see it's under a tent and I am wondering if it is sweltering. Any input is appreciated!

I wouldn't go for other reasons as this is a circus with a long list of Animal Welfare Violations. But to answer your question, I don't believe there is air conditioning under the tent.

Cole Brothers Circus
I went last Sumer and really enjoyed it. I cannot remember it being uncomfortably hot. I def want to go again this year.

We went years ago and it was terrible. 1000 degrees and the animals looked lethargic.

We took our kids (I always went when I was a kid). It was definitely sweltering hot under the tent, so be prepared. They had fun though and it's the perfect size/length for their age (2 and 3).

We went to the 8 pm show tonight with my 4 year old. It was still hot. No ac or fans. My ds really liked it but it didn't end until 10 so it all depends on your kids. He took a 3 hour nap until 5 today to prepare.

We went last night. Took our 3 yr old DS and he was bored. Asked to go home after the first act LOL! I didnt really enjoy it ether.

In my 20's I went there myself and protested this circus - even up close it is awful to see what the animals were going through. They had a baby tiger cub who was removed from it's mother in a tiny pen for people to come over and look at. He was terrified. It was so awful....

Hello, my name is Yuki Endo, live in Jackson Heights, Queens, NY and I have been helping animal advocates protest against animal cruelty, even thought I not vegan.
If any members live near Long Island, ongoing protest from Long Island Orchestrating for Nature, PETA, and other animal advocates are protesting Coles Brother Circus in rest of July 2013.

I won't go either.
I can't remember where I was this weekend, but I remember seeing "free" tickets for this.
I think that's how they try to lure people in.
I went to a rodeo last weekend after not knowing what it was going to be like, and it's really opened my eyes a lot to the bad side of these things.

I saw some other videos, during heavy thunderstorm, their tent collasped during the perfomance time somewhere near NY-Canadian border, trapping people and circus animals to be rescue.

Thanks for posting this link. I also came across a Ringling Bros Elephant giving birth(through the link) and it is so sad how they just separate the baby from its mother.

I am not trying to create drama by saying this, but it blows my mind that people still support the circus when it is common knowledge how horribly these animals are treated.
I feel terrible for these innocent creatures.

I agree with the other posters--there are so many other things you could do with your kids that they would enjoy!
While I did enjoy the circus as a kid, now that I know what goes on behind the scenes--I won't ever go again :(

There are animal-free circus you could go to. There are quite animal-free circus and they only use acrobats, jugglers, artists, actors/actresses, tapazee.
