Fun activities to do in NYC
I'd like to take my two LO's into the city next week. Ages 5 and 6 1/2...any suggestions for fun activities?

When I was little I always loved the museum of natural history to go and see the dinosaurs!

Central Park, CP Zoo, Children's museum ( does your library offer museum passes? ) , Museum of Natural history, Ripley's, Intrepid, Lego Store, Mars2112( disgusting food, fun atmosphere)

I live in the city with my 7 year old.
We live on the UWS. Near us is the museum of natural history, Children's Museum and CP Zoo. You can then go have a picnic in Central Park and pick up the food on the way. If you have girls, there is a cute place to eat Alice's tea cup. Its Alice in Wonderland theme and they give the kids butterfly wings.
If you want to go to Times Square, there is the Toys R Us Store, Dave and Busters.

If you're going on the weekend, definitely Governors Island (although not technically "the city.")!
