I'm seconding Brian and his team. They're at my house now painting the whole thing and they're wonderful to work with. He's calm and efficient, doesn't mind kids/dogs, either.

My husband Willie is a painter--he's gotten loads of recs from here. "Willie the Painter" as everyone calls him....631 835 4477. He's very reasonable (trust me, we're poor!) but he's honest & reliable too
