Back from my RE appointment 7/7/05
(I'm going to copy and paste an email I sent earlier ...becuase its a lot to type again)
I'm home from the RE and everything went well. They didn't do the internal saline sono - they just did a regular sono.
My RE looked at my sono from last wk and said she didnt think the saline sono was necessary. No pollups, fibroids and no endo on my ovaries or anywhere else. She said that doesnt mean that there isnt any endo at all, but if there is its a very small amount and no worth surgery.
So I have some small folicles growing mainly on my right ovary (which is good) but she said judging by their size I will ovulate late in my cycle this month. I have some cysts too but small, nothing to worry about now.
She wants to start the IUI this cycle!!!!!!!!!! I'm sooooo excited. It will be an unmedicated cycle this month though - and if Im not PG from it this time, she'll start me on clomid next cycle and do it again. This is all really great bc I wasnt planning on starting IUI til next mmonth so we get a jump start on things.
Next step now is DH and I have blood work Sat morning and then go right to the REs office for DH's SA Then....I go back Monday morning at 7:45am for another sono to see the size of the follicles and we'll go from there. I have to track when I ovulate, but that's the norm for me now anyway.
So we're moving along FAST and Im SOOOO happy. RE also said everything is looking good - blood work so far is fine. Nice endometrial lining...uterus is tipped but not as bad as the HSG showed. So so far all is well.
So it was a nice birthday present for me today..and no painful internal exam and good news!
