Feedback for New Hyde Park or Garden City Park area
Hello. I am considering these two neighborhoods for our first home. Can you provide feedback on the following?
How walkable is the area to local supermarkets/restaurants/park? Is it really necessary to drive everywhere or can you accomplish some errands without car?
How would you rate the safety of the area in terms of crimes?
How would you rate the schools? I have researched greatschools website but hoping to hear direct feedback from people who lives or knows the area?

I just moved to garden city park about 8 months ago & I really like it! We picked the area b/c schools are very good. Neighbors are awesome ! Depends where u live if you are going to walk to supermarket I always bring the car b/c I need trunk space! I lived in new Hyde park growing up so that's one f the reasons why we picked the area.
