Problems with OBGYN West Islip
I'm currently 11 weeks pregnant and my obgyn is Dr. Sarah Schwartz. I got my sonogram at 8 weeks and her office told me they would call me within the next week to schedule my first prenatal appointment. We are now at week 11 and I still don't have an appointment. I'm getting very frustrated, I used her with my first pregnancy and I like her a lot but what in the world is this all about? Does anyone else use her or is having a similar issue? They said she normally doesn't see you until 12-14 weeks. Last time she saw me right before 12 weeks. Thank you!

I think other people have posted about her in the past. There is a search feature above in green. I would search her and read what others have wrote.

That's terrible!!!
If you want to change doctors, I go to Comprehensive OBGYN and I see Dr Vullo and Sampino!! They are awesome 
Right in West Islip!!!

Problems with OBGYN West Islip
I had problems with her office when I had a chemical pregnancy. I never even got the opportunity to see or speak with her even though I was told numerous times that I would. I switched to Berlin and Egner (who delivered DS) and I am very happy with them.

I have heard not so great thinks about her as well...I'm sorry you are having a tough time.
I do totally agree with Comprehensive though! LOVE LOVE LOVE THEM!

Thank you for all the feedback everyone. Where does comprehensive deliver? I delivered at south side with my first and really loved it there.

Yikes, I am glad I didn't see these reviews before I had DD! She is not my dr, but she was the covering OB the night I had DD. My OB wasn't available, so she wound up delivering DD. I thought she was great during that time, really put me at ease through the whole process.

I completely agree with Comprehensive. Dr Sampino recently delivered my DD He is the best.
They deliver at Good Sam.

Problems with OBGYN West Islip
Crashing to say switch to Comprehensive! I switched at 11 weeks and they were so helpful. Unfortunately I lost my baby at 20 weeks but Dr Vullo and Sampino have been amazing, caring and compassionate through a horrible experience.

I go to Oakdale OBGYN- Drs. O'Sullivan, Bakshi and Lopes and they deliver at Southside.
I love all of them! I also delivered at Southside and even though I moved to Rocky Point since then, I stayed with Oakdale OBGYN because I love them and Southside

This man is the best!!!!!!!
I swotched to him at just shy of 20 weeks and every appt was easy and a pleasure. He NEVER rushes you and always seems to run ontime!!!! I called him a few times during my pregnancy for what I thought were somewhat stupid reasons and he was always quick to call back and never made be feel stupid.
I developed issues at the start of my 3rd tri and was hospitalized for 4 days. He was there every morning to check on me (even though it was not baby related) then spent time with me discussing the rest of my pregnancy and my options on delivery since my health changed the normal plan.
He is such a kind caring man!!!!!

I used to see her (before I started having babies)
I didn't like her. At all.
I have a friend that still sees her and EVERY TIME she goes into the office there's an issue! (they always mix up her records with her sister's, lose test results, don't call back, etc).
