Your Favorite Disney Restaurants
Can you list your favorite Disney restaurants and where they're located?
I'm trying to plan where I want to eat so when the time comes to make my reservations, my research will be all done.
Ohana (Poly) is on my list already Akershaus House (Epcot) is on my list too.
We will probably do Chef Mickey's again since we're staying at The Contemporary.

My all-time favorite meal at Disney is at Victoria & Alberts in the Grand Floridian but it's adult only.

I was just going to post the same topic so thanks for getting it started Has anyone been to whispering canyon cafe? Also, can you say why you like the restaurant. Might help to narrow down the choices.

If you like BBQ/cook out stuff....it's good (BBQ chicken, brisket, ribs, b beans, etc. Bottomless milk shakes are so GOOD! It's fun too, with the ketchup & straws stuff.
My family also really liked: (4 & 2yo) Marrakesh (if you like hummus, grilled pita, couscous stuff) Brown Derby had great food crystal palace, was surprisingly not bad for breakfast, love pooh, & got into MK before opening Ohana for dinner & breakfast was great fun & good meal Akersush was actually good for lunch (grilled asparagus, soup, etc) Plaza for good old ice cream shop food Boma, different variety of choices & good Kona, we had a good dinner meal

Re: Your Favorite Disney Restaurants
We've only been to Disney twice but our favorites were all at Polynesian - Ohana, Kona Café, Captain Hook's. we really enjoyed staying at this hotel for its excellent food. The pineapple dole whip is delicious as is the pineapple bread and amazing tonga toast. I was really surprised at how good our breakfasts were and I am a huge brunch fan and don't praise often for brunch/breakfast.
The last time we went, we decided to do quick counter meals at the parks and we liked Flametree BBQ at AK, Japan at Epcot. I thought the churros and margaritas at Mexico were good. I don't think the pizza was anything special but our boys really enjoyed eating at Pizza Plant at Hollywood Studios.
On my list for our upcoming trip in Sept: Character Breakfast at Chef Mickeys Sanaa at Animal Lodge Whispering Café at Wilderness Lodge Flying Fish at the Boardwalk Beaches and Cream at Yacht Club Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle character dinner at Nick Resort (non-Disney) my kids love ninja turtles I also plan to eat at Poly at Captain Hook's and/or Kona Café I have been trying to get a reservation for Mickey's Backyard BBQ but it is fully booked. Hoping someone cancels so we can get a spot.
