Part of me is interested in reading a different topic from him, but part of me thought The Symbol was so poor, I don't want to invest in another one of his books. I think I'll wait and see what the consensus is.

ITA. I was so disappointed by that book. If I do decide to read it I'll wait for it to be at the library.

Just finished it. Slow going, but keep with it - about 2/3 thru there is a good twist.

I thought it was good but definitely not his best. My favorite is still Angels and Demons. It was entertaining enough though. I just found it kind of predictable.

Finally finished it. Not his best book. Not his worst book. Slow, but some interesting bits of history in it. I had to look up Dante's death mask and then got into all the other death masks out there--very macabre and interesting things.

I *finally* got my turn with a library copy.  I have read a little over 200 pages and it's pretty engaging. I'm enjoying it. I like that he threw you into the action immediately.

I'm a little less than halfway through right now. So far it is engaging, but I don't know if it will be one of his best.

I've been to a good deal of the places he visited in the book, so that coupled with the history I loved. I didn't love the characters and hated the ending.
