faint line on a hpt but negative on digital??
DH and I arent' ttc, but i had some spotting and I'm late, so I took a test. It was a CVS brand. Looked like there was a very faint line. Ran out and took a digital and got BFN. What do you think? I know everybody says a line is a line, but I think I'm seeing things. Could it be the brand?

digitals arent always as sensitive as the line tests. Try First Response. Theyre the best

I had about 10...yes 10 BFP's and a beta of 65 and the digital was still saying Not Pregnant. I wasn't until I was 1 day late that it finally said Pregnant.

The digitals are not as sensitive as some of the regular HPTs. Get a First Response Early Response and try that. I was two days late for AF when I got a BFP on the digital.

ITA with the above posters! Use FMU with a First Response Early Response.
The digital test I took at 12DPO said you could test up to 5 days early (similar to the FRER) and it showed up as "pregnant" that early. My beta was 57 when I had my blood taken later that day, so I'd say it was very sensitive. It was the Clear Blue Easy Digital (the one that says "5 days earlier" on the box).

i would test again tomorrow am with FMU and not a digital, it may be to early. do you have pic of your test?

same thing is happening to me took three first response test and one digital. 3 normal test are coming out with the faintest pink lines and the digital is negative. I am so on the edge and cant get a blood test until the first week of september! help!!

Keep testing ever few days if its positive it will eventually show on digital too and the lines will show darker! Good luck
