3 hour injections class...
Waaaay too long and involved. They tried to go over everything, but everyone is on different protocols, so for about half of it the information didn't pertain to at least one of us in the room.
And all they did was show us the needle procedures, they didn't let us practice, even though they gave us needles and a little fleshy-belt thing. 
But now I know more than I ever wanted to about IVF. I start my Lupron on 7/30.

I took the long class at my previous RE and IMO it's just WAY too much info to absorb in one sitting.
NSUH does it in stages... they don't show you anything until you need to know it. So much easier that way.
Just worry about one thing at a time and if you need help we can help you.
You'll be "shooting up like a rock star" in no time

My instructor was also humorless.
She was showing the husband's how to do the Progesterone Shots and the pull back and follow through method and DH jokes "Oh, it's just like darts."
Everyone cracked up and she's all "No, never release the needle." dead serious.

Ours was only about 1/2 hour.

Mine was 3 hrs also and it was A LOT of info...
Once I actually got going with my shots I would have a nurse go over it with me before I left my RE that day this way it was fresh in my head...
Good luck and once you start it becomes automatic...

MY DH jokes all of the time... good thing he didn't have her as an instructor.
When he met Dr. Scholl he really wanted to say, "Oh, nice to meet you. I'm a big fan of your foot care products"
And there is some classic rock song with DR. Chu in the lyrics... I think... and everytime I bring up her name he starts to sing... "Are you with me Dr. Chu... blah, blah, blah, blah... Dr. Chuuuuuuuuu"
I swear he's 12 years old 
A 3 hour class in anything is absolutely brutal

Ug -- at East Coast it was about a half hour, 3 or 4 couples. At SIRM, we had a private class, just DH & me, so we only went over what we needed to know.
Lauren I could not be in the same room with someone for 3 hours who has no sense of humor!! I admire you for that, lol.
