Bird Rescue??
Is anyone aware of an organization that will take birds that need a home?
My FIL has had a parrot for about 30 years and unfortunately FIL is very ill and about to go into hospice. We are trying to find a good home for him. If anyone knows of any organizations that can help it would be greatly appreciated!

There is a store called bird brain in East Meadow and the owner rescues birds.

Long Island Parrot society and there is another one in lindenhurst that I can't remember the name of right now.
