Whats in your Netflix queue or on your streamling list?
I just got Netflix and I'm looking for ideas. I've been reading Peter Travers reviews on Rolling Stone and putting movies in my DVD queue and streaming list but I'd like to know what you've liked or what's coming up for you?
My DVD queue right now:
A Dog Year (I read the book)
No Country For Old Men
The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel
Mud
Bachelorette
Side Effects
World War Z
Promised Land
Rust and Bone
My streaming list:
Breaking Bad
Arrested Development
Alias
House of Cards
How I Met Your Mother
The West Wing (I've seen the whole thing but I google lists of the best episodes and then watch them. It's still amazing.)
Mad Men
30 Rock
Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia
Cheers 
Fat Sick and Nearly Dead - and a bunch of other food-related documentaries
National Geographic shows on wildlife photography, US parks, Meerkats, stuff like that

I only stream and here's what I have.
TED Talks
Drop Dead Diva (really cute and funny!)
Numb3rs
The Glades
Longmire (one of my new favorites, crime drama set in Wyoming)
I also like a lot of British crime dramas for some reason-
Foyle's War (set in WWII England)
Murder in Suburbia (modern, 2 women detectives, not too dark/heavy)
Sherlock (the most recent reboot- really good!)
The Fall- set in Belfast, with Jillian Anderson- also really good.
Ripper Street
Miss Marple
Everyone's been raving about Orange is the New Black, that's on my list too.

I only ever stream, too.
Definitely put Parks & Rec on there if it's not already.
Not sure if you'd be into it, but Hemlock Grove was another Netflix original and it was really good. Supernatural mystery/horror type show. Orange is the New Black is another Netflix original. I've heard good things but haven't watched yet.
Sherlock is a definite on my list. There are only 6 episodes (2 seasons) but they are each 90 minutes long and sooooo good. It's like 6 Sherlock movies at your finger tips.
There's a few other shows that I've liked: Alphas, Workaholics, Heroes, 24, Lost, Community, and Sons of Anarchy.

Orange is the New Black isn't on my list because we finished it already 
Thanks for the suggestions! I'm kind of looking for things I can watch without DH too. I tried Gossip Girl but my dying brain cells couldn't make it past the middle of the first season.

I couldn't get into it either. That or Pretty Little Liars.
I love Vampire Diaries and Supernatural though.  And VD is coming out with a spinoff this fall- The Originals. Pretty excited for that!
Walking Dead is another great show, but your DH would probably like it, too.
The first season of New Girl is also available on Netflix if you haven't already watched that! That's a good DH-free show, though I won't lie, my DH likes it, too!
