i have made an executive decision re marathon... not running in AC

something in my gut was telling me that maybe i shouldn't run the AC marathon... i couldn't shake it, so i decided to approach it systematically.

* i've been feeling insecure.
* DS has been away for three weeks and hasn't been running

i decided to look into things and found that AC's maximum time is faster than i feel i can finish a marathon... how i didn't notice that earlier is just crazy!!

so i took a look at philly's marathon, which is in november... their maximum time is well within my reach. it even gives me an extra 2 minutes per mile!!

running in philly means no hotel... which saves a truckload of money.

after considering all of these details, i decided that it would be in my best interest to run my first marathon in philly instead of AC.

i feel very good about my decision!
yesterday, i hit the road and ran a lovely 6 miles.

can't wait for DS to be back tomorrow so we can get back to our training!

Philly is an amazing marathon It is SOOOOOO much fun. Maybe my favorite one so far.

Sounds like a great decision. I ran the Philly half about 3 years ago and LOVED it! It's a great course.
