Class Parents ?

My school's PA has organized for each of us to have 1 class parent. Though I've had room moms in the past, I don't feel I fully utilized them as much as I should have.

Can you share how you have utilized your class parent/room mom? What would he/she be responsible for, help with, etc.

Class Parents ?

In our school, they are trained to come and do lice checks once a month..I would also ask them to please kinda "chase" after parents for things like supplies for projects (ie. empty cans...things like that) or to spread the word about needing volunteers for a project or something like that...

Thanks...I guess I'm going to have to learn how to let go of some control...I usually email all of my parents and like keeping in touch with each of them throughout the week. We don't host any seasonal celebrations and lice wasn't a big issue last year. Thanks for the suggestions!
