If you take the LIRR into Penn
Have you noticed lately that the trains seem to rock much more than they used to at a certain spot? It's around the area of LIC/Hunterspoint Ave, near the Citi building and the big building with all the graffiti on it, right before you actually go into the East River tunnel.
I've noticed it more over the past few weeks to the point where i've been jolted awake while snoozing. I usually sit in the front of the train, so not sure if that makes a difference, but it's definitely way more pronounced than it used to be. I see passengers get shaken out of their seats!
anyone else notice this or am I imagining things? My DH just chalks it up to poor track maintenance by the LIRR, but it actually concerns me as it feels like the train could jump off the track!

I've noticed it because when I am reading on my iPad, I have to stop because I lose my place from the rocking.

I haven't noticed it but I'm generally not paying attention.
You may want to tweet or email them about it. It could (1) make them look into it (2) put them on notice that a serious issue could occur

Re: If you take the LIRR into Penn
Don't really care about the rocking, but I have noticed that major delays seem to be an every week occurrence now. Every other week something else comes up that causes bigtime issue.
Makes me glad I no longer live in the city because I would have no clue who to vote for mayor. There is no way I am voting in any of the Democrat liberals. Yet the lone Republican is the former MTA chief.
