New to Long Island
Hey everyone!!!! My name is Tina and I just heard about LI families. I recently moved to Long Island and I love it here and am looking forward to being more involved in the community. My son is 9 years old and we absolutely love the island and he adores his new school. This website is awesome and I am looking forward to talking to all of you!!!!!

Thanks everyone! I currently live and work in Smithtown and moved here from North Carolina. I have to say I love being so close to the beach but I'm sad at how short summer is here :( it's already getting so chilly out. I have a 9 year old son and he loves baseball. Does anyone know of any leagues or coaches around the area. We are a bit disappointed to hear that there is no fall ball on Long Island. Hope everyone has a great weekend!!!

I also am a transplant to LI (although I'm originally from the Hudson Valley of NYS).
LIF is one of the main things I can actually say I really enjoy about LI. 
Parts of it are growing on me, otherwise.

There might still be a complex on the Expressway service road in Happauge. My brother in law has one in South Carolina, but he is originally from here. I will ask him to see if he knows of one here

St Josephs CYO in Ronkonkoma has fall baseball, & there is also Matt Guliani Play like a Pro batting cages/baseball coaching

Hi! I have a 9 year old son who loves baseball too. He takes batting practice at BEAST in Commack.
