6 7 or 8 year old boy holiday gifts?

What are your son's into these days? Do you have any big gift ideas? I am stumped this year. My son is 6 and right now he is into transformers and legos. I need one good big present idea. Thanks

I have a 6 and 8 year old. The new skylanders swap force will be out by then so both will want that. The 6 year old just got the Disney infinity for his bday and is enjoying that - if you don't have it yet. Both are asking for pets (not too sure about that one as I am allergic to most animals and they want something soft and cuddly) and lots of sports jerseys esp soccer. The 8 year old will find some big legos he wants. My 6 year old likes them but doesn't care for them as much as the older one does. But not sure what else - and being everyone will be asking - I will be searching too.

We've been doing lots of sports related gifts as both are big into playing sports. Last year they got a big hockey goal for the driveway and sticks and goalies equipment. They never played hockey much before but love it! All their friends love playing that when they come over.

Knex building sets were huge for DS' 6th birthday that just passed specifically the Super Mario themed ones.

Jacob just got a fantastic gift for his 8th birthday. I. Really do not want more toys in my house we have enough!!! So he got 6 private training session at Prospect sports that he can use whenever he wants preferably before baseball...

If you want something - rainbow loom - the boys all want to do it too not only a girl thing. It is all the rage if you are not looming!

For Hannukah we are nt doing toys.. We ar taking them to Great Wolf Lodge and to see the Nutcracker at Lincoln Center... Both of those things ire not cheap....they will get some little things from the grandparents...
