when did you tell your boss?

I'm still really early, but feel like she should be the first of my coworkers to know (other than my good friend) . I feel like last school year I was always asking her what she wanted for lunch bc I know she has no time to take a break and as of now I can't smell or even think of food. Also, the classes I teach are 2.5 hours each and I never used to leave but last week I needed to ask for someone to watch my class for a minute like every day. I feel like I'm hiding something !

due to all my early stage apts i told my boss and made him promise not to tell ANYONE
this way it was easier and he was more understanding

other than that, i plan on waiting until after my NT scan results before i tell others

I told my one boss who is also good friend that work with all the time after saw heart beat and sono at 8-9 weeks mainly cause I've been so sick

Plan on telling the partner after my next appointment at 10 weeks if confirm heart beat and others around 12?

i told my boss and group (abt 3 out of 6 ppl) early on (12 wks) mainly bc we were working on long all-day projects and lots of after work meetings w/cocktails....

they didnt tell anyone and people are still finding out now... i'm 26 wks.

I told my Supervisor after my 8 week appt when I saw a heartbeat because I needed to apply for FMLA due to the fact I was already getting morning sickness
I wanted to make sure it wouldn't go against my dependability if I needed some days off here and there. I'm very close to her too and couldn't wait to tell her!!!

i said something at around 13w. Mainly bc i wanted to tell my coworkers and Im in a small office.

I'm planning on telling next week - I'll be 13 weeks. It'll be post NT scan and during a 1 on 1 meeting I already have scheduled with my boss anyway. I'm going to tell him then for two reasons 1) it's getting hard to hide...I'm one of the lucky ones who popped early at about 10 weeks 2) I want to give ample amount of time for planning for my maternity leave. We have a lot of big projects going on in the coming months and I don't want to leave anyone hanging.

With DS#1 I don't remember but I didn't enjoy her so I told her after I told all of my other co-workers. Defintiely after the first trimester was over.
With this one, I told my current boss around 16 weeks and only because we were talking about long-term plans for our program at the time and I felt it was a good time to do it being that I'm the staff's supervisor. I started showing right after that conversation.

I told him fairly early on, around 6-7 weeks because I was already getting morning sickness and was late almost every day.

I told my AP at 5 weeks. I work with kids with really challenging (and sometimes violent) behaviors, so I wanted to let her know ASAP, so she could get someone to handle crises in my classroom. I am usually the one who deals with crises, since I have a certification for it, but I didn't want to get hurt, so I felt like I had to tell her as soon as I could. She ended up putting my most aggressive student in another class for the rest of the year. I am really glad I told her. That could have been bad.

I told the person who for all intents and purposes is my boss even before DH b/c we're friendly and she knew we were trying for so long and I had to tell someone who wasn't family! It was during what I like to call the "Holy f*cking shit" phase of me finding out. My dad is also technically my boss but I didn't tell him til 9w3d. He then told another one of my bosses.

I told my boss after I saw the heart beat... but.. I was having some issues and needed to take some time off, so I had to be honest about it
