What to do with all the worksheets???
What do you do with all the worksheets you get home? I have a huge pile already of worksheets that have come home from homework/classwork, etc. I feel bad just throwing it out!

Re: What to do with all the worksheets???
You have to toss the every day math/ letter stuff!
It piles up, no one looks at it. I try to save the "special" projects, but even that gets to be a lot.
Toss!

I save their work til the end of the year. Some stuff I toss but I like to save work in case anything comes up later (report cards etc).

I throw it all out. I only keep art projects and the journal that comes home at year end.

Agree! My older girls are in 1st and 3rd grades and I even throw out the tests as well.

What to do with all the worksheets???
I recycle the dittos that come home..as long as the back is blank. I print coupons or confirmation emails on them..or make scrap drawing paper or note paper..

Re: What to do with all the worksheets???
I toss the worksheets unless I think we might need them for a test or review, but even then, I don't hang on to them for long.
I toss most of the paper "art" as well. I hang onto anything with hand prints or their photos (and I make sure to date them). Some of the non-paper projects I display for a bit, but after a period of time, I discard them.
I just don't see my children looking through their memory & scrapbook boxes and saying "Gee mom, I'm so glad you saved all my math work and connect-the-dot sheets."

Keep tests unless you are required to send them back. Keep homework for a few weeks, in case there was a discrepancy or they need to review for a test.
Art=take a photograph and make an online album or a photo book of their projects. Keep the really special things.

That's a great idea. I save junk mail envelopes for shopping lists, etc., but using DD's old dittos will work too. She has already brought home a shit-ton and I have no idea where to put them.

this is what we do, DH surprised me with a great Photobook on Mother's Day last year with the kids' art work. It was a very special gift.
For the everyday things (forms, permission slips, schedules, calendars), I keep an expandable file folder in the kitchen drawer and each kid/person has a section.
