DS hit his mouth & his tooth is a teeny bit loose - ER or not?
His gums are bleeding where they connect to his front 3 teeth but only one is a little loose. Can gums heal on their own to set the tooth back into place? Do I need to go to the ER? His dentist office couldn't get us in until Wed... err

My sister works for a dentist and i just asked her. Good luck.

Thank you for asking her! His dentist can't see us until Wed- they are only open 3 days a week! Never bothered me before because I like the Drs but I may need to find a new practice because of this. With 2 small, rough, clumsy boys, I need a practice that will be open 5 days.

I would call your dentist's office and ask or other dentists in the area and see if they can take you. Depending on your insurance.

DD just took a fall yesterday and got a tiny chip in her tooth. She'd never been to the dentist but her ped recommended one and they saw her within a few hours.

I just took our daughter to the dentist for the first time. The one thing he told me was that if ever her tooth falls out never let doctors put it back in. He said it does more harm than good for a baby tooth. Don't know if that helps.

my niece had a lose tooth from hitting her tooth on someones head. it eventually had to be pulled because it started to "die" and turn a gray color.

I don't mean to scare you but I'll tell you my experience that just happened in July. DD Is 2 years old, hit her mouth didn't cry, didn't bleed but I noticed it was a little loose. Took her to the Ped the next day they sent me straight to the Dentist. Dentist told me its probably just a little loose and it will mend itself back but lets just take xrays to be on the safe side. Thank goodness we did, it ended up being fractured all the way down under the gums. Needless to say we had to go back and have her tooth removed.
