sitting up at night
My DD is 7.5 months old and for the past 3 weeks she has been constantly sitting up at night and during naps. Last night she was up almost every hour because she would sit up in her sleep and wake herself up. I would put her back down and she would just do it again and again. If I leave her, she will be up for an hour just sitting and talking to herself until she gets tired and cries. Anyone been through this, when will it get better? Anyone have any advice?

sitting up at night
I just let my DS go. If he is not up for a reason like sick or pain or poop etc then let them go.

Re: sitting up at night
I remember dd doing this. I just let her be. She usually put herself back to sleep. It's ust that they learn it and do it no matter what time it is. haha. I wouldn't go in unless she's extremely upset.

Re: sitting up at night
Can she get herself back down? If not, teach her how to lay back down from a sitting position when she's awake so that she can do it when she's in a sleepy state. One of my LO's used to do this until she understood how to lie back down. I can't remember what age it was though/
