How much does/did your 3 Month old weigh?

My DD is going to be 3 Months on the 7 of October and already almost 14 lbs.
Is it too much??
She is Brest fed.

Forgot to add she was 6'8 at birth.

It's only too much if your dr tells you it's too much! At 3 months I'd just feed her when she's hungry. She'll even out as she gets older and more mobile.

At 2 months my dd was 12 lbs 4 oz and that was a month ago so I'm sure she's 14 now or close. She is also BF. I'm not worried about it.

My ds at 10 weeks was 13lb 7oz. He has breastmilk and formula.

Dd will be 3 months tomorrow. Today she is 13 weeks. She is 14lbs. Always 75-90 percentile. She was born at 7lb 5oz. First month ebf, and up to 12 weeks she would get formula and bm. Now just formula. She's also grown 4 inches since birth.

As long as they are healthy and growing. Once they start crawling and walking it all evens out.

There is no such thing as "too much" for a BF 3 month old. They eat when they are hungry and stop when they are full.

The only concern for infants is if they are not gaining enough.

My DD was born at 7 lbs 11 oz and was breastfed. At her 3 month appointment she weighed 12 lbs 14 oz. I wouldn't worry about it because babies gain weight and then lean out on different tracks. Especially breastfed babies. They gain a lot of weight rapidly in the beginning and then by a year they totally average out. My doctor told me this and I never believed him. My daughter is very tiny so for weight vs. height she was always like 99% percentile. Now that she is on table foods and 13 months, she has come down to about 50-60th%. It's fine.

My DS had his 3mth checkup yesterday and he was 15lbs 7oz! My doc didn't say anything except to ask me if he's really 6mths old?! Haha
He's a big baby and he's already getting his two bottom teeth !

My twins were 13 and 15lbs at 9 weeks. They've got to be 1-2lbs more now at 12 weeks. We're going to the ped next week, so we'll find out then. They were 6 and 8,4 at birth and are EBF on demand. Your baby is thriving - way to go mama!!!

Thanks girls for the responses. She now fits into 6 mo clothing which probobly will outgrow in couple of weeks. And she is not even 3 mo yet.

My baby is oppositee she is 3mnths (13w) and is only 11lb 5oz 23" long. She weighed 8lb 8oz 21" lond @ birth. She is EBF & Dr. Had no concerns. She did gain 23oz since last visit 6w ago so Im happy with thay. Each baby develops differently & unless your Dr has concerns I wouldn't worry about it. Your DD seems to be growing quite nicely.

DD2 is also EBF and was born 6lb 11 oz - at 4 months (don't remember 3 months) she was 13 lbs 15 oz, and now at 5 months she is 14 lbs 12 oz, so she doesn't seem too far off!
