A little hope to get us through
I just wanted to pass along a little story of hope - actually two stories.
1) The first I think I had mentioned on here before. My aunt, back in the late 70's early 80's - when you didn't even know you were preggo until about 8 weeks - had FIVE miscarriages. You read that right, FIVE CONSECUTIVE MISCARRIAGES. Again, this is before IVF really was being used. She went on to have 2 amazing daughters, my incredible cousins.
2) The second is my grandmother on my other side of the family. Back in the 50's it took her about 3-4 years before having kids. And no, they weren't practicing birth control (that just wasn't done back then, lol). She isn't certain, but she thinks she had a couple of miscarriages in the process. She then FINALLY got pregnant with my mother, and proceeded to have FOUR kids in FIVE years.
These two stories (and actually a few others in my family) like these give me such a strong sense of hope that it WILL happen I just had to share them with you ladies, because we ALL could use a little extra.
** Just a side note, both of these women overcame their issues in times BEFORE major fertility meds were used - both would have gotten there unmedicated.

Absolutely! The more I hear the more I post! I also know of a cousin who has five kids (five kids? might be six now) who has had many miscarriages as well... like 4-5... sometimes miscarriages just happen.

Well I think there may be a reason why I've had 3 m/c's and I feel I need further testing but there is always a chance that nothing is found (though I do suspect some sort of autoimmune or celiac thing) Anyways... Thanks for your comforting words.

My BFF has celiac - you would have known looooooooooooong before this that you had it - the symptoms are not something you can ignore. Def possibility of something autoimmune, also possibility that they won't find a definitive answer. My point was just to show that hey, lots of women go through this crap (and I mean total and complete BS crap we go through), and look at these great end results these women had! Inspiration - You need to keep a positive outlook on it...
not to get all "new-agey" on you, but positive thinking and positive energy brinks positive outcomes!
